epcot TRANSPORTATION: EXPLAINED!

The Epcot transportation system can be very confusing for first-timers. How do I know which form of transportation to use to get there? We've got you covered! Let's take a look at all the ways to get to and from this park.

There are six ways to get to Epcot:

bus,

monorail,

boat,

walking,

skyliner,

and by driving your own vehicle

Take a look below at where all the entrances are for those transportation modes. This way, you can know where you'll end up around the Epcot Entrance, and where you'll go to exit the park as well:

epcot PARKING:

While parking at Epcot is a lot closer compared to Magic Kingdom, it still can be quite a walk. There are trams to take you from the back portion of the parking lot to the front entrance.

What if you are staying at a monorail resort? How can you get to Epcot?

epcot MONORAIL SYSTEM:

The monorail system is an incredible way to get around the Epcot resort area! Let's take a closer look at the TWO different monorail lines and what they mean:

If you're staying at a Magic Kingdom resort hotel, OR you're dining at one of them, you'll want to take the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center, and then switch to the Epcot Monorail.

Epcot BUS SYSTEM:

Are you not staying near Epcot but still on Disney property? It's likely you'll be taking the BUS to Epcot! You'll be dropped off right at the gate!


Resorts with ONLY buses to Epcot: Animal Kingdom Lodge, All-Star Resorts, Coronado Springs Resort, Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter, WIlderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness

epcot BOAT SYSTEM AND WALKING TO epcot:

There are a few select resorts near the park that allow you to utilize the boat system when traveling to Epcot! Boats run every 15-20 minutes from those resorts and are dropped off near the back entrance of the park.

Staying at Boardwalk or Yacht and Beach Club Resorts? Walking is an option for you when thinking of how to get to Epcot.

PARK HOPPING TO epcot? EASY. LET'S GET YOU THERE!

FROM magic kingdom:

Monorail to Ticket and Transportation Center ---> change monorails ---> monorail to EPCOT

FROM Disney's Animal Kingdom:

Bus to Epcot

FROM Disney's HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS:

Skyliner to Epcot

Boat to Epcot

Walk to Epcot

FROM Disney SPRINGS:

Bus to a resort (such as Pop Century or another Skyliner resort) ---> Skyliner to Epcot. Another option is Bus to your resort, then go from there!

FROM TYPHOON LAGOON/BLIZZAED BEACH:

Bus to resort ---> then bus or skyliner to Epcot. Same situation as coming from Disney Springs :)
